SCREAMER - Living the Stream - Live VHS release
A VHS (and dvd included) release of the 2020 live stream from Swedens finest Heavy Metal band Screamer. Recut video with two added camera angles and improved video quality (that then was totally wrecked when it was recorded on VHS).
This is approved by the band, but should considered a classic bootleg (but with high quality of course).
I was the cameraman and also the one who supplied the camera equipment and I thought that this was such a great show, even if it was without any audience. The lightning and sound was amazing and the 80s vibe was so strong that I got an idea to release it on VHS tapes. The band did enjoy this, but it took almost 2 years before another week of working at home before I did get around to it.
The video was shot in 1080p full HD, then it was exported to DVD (4:3 but widescreen (not stretched)) and then transfered with a dvd<->vhs player onto VHS tapes.
The VHS tapes was bought second hand from a record store (thanks Andra Långgatans Skivhandel i Göteborg) and I did record over the old movies and stuff (no porn :( ). So the tape quality should be fine but most are of course about 25 years old or 30 so no guarantees.
I expect you to play this on a friday night along with some beers/booze and if you were to get too drunk you might pass out at the end and the wake up to some classic movies from the 90s (or possibly some old space adventure with a guy with a black helmet and light sabres).
The cases and tapes got different wear so this adds to the uniqueness of every copy.
The quality of the VHS is really what you might expect from an old live tape from the 80s. This is a passion/nerd project and I put in well over 100 hours into recording, editing and purchasing equipment (although it wasn't expensive) and creating the artwork.
35 copies will be made total and 10 have already been sent to the band and crew.
So 25 will go up for sale here and then never again, they will be labeled with an individual number.
